Hey! Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer. I'll be seeing out the year with a few gigs which you can find on the events page, this will include my first public performance playing flamenco guitar as part of DisFUNKtional Acoustic at the wonderful Green Man Gallery in Buxton. I will also be hosting a jam night with my good friend Billy at The Ale Stop in Buxton on the 28th November. Hello everyone just a quick update.

I'm very pleased to say that STRUNG OUT:A History Of Rock Guitar was a huge success and SOLD OUT! I'm hoping to perform the show again at some point so watch this space. In the same week DisFUNKtional also performed to a huge crowd in the Pavilion Gardens for the Buxton Carnival and we had a great time!

Looking forward to September I've got gigs coming up at The London Road and Buxton Tap House so hope to see some of you there.

I'm pleased to announce I will be performing on this years Buxton Fringe Festival at the Pavilion Arts Centre, it is a 75 minute show charting the history of rock guitar playing from the 1930s right through to today. More info and tickets can be found here STRUNG OUT! A History of Rock Guitar

Just added a short example of some funky wah playing to my music play list "Wah,Cha Doin"

Hey, just a quick one to say I`ve uploaded a new track called "Daft Funk" it's basically just an example of some disco style rhythm,lead and bass guitar playing. Influenced by a certain 2013 summer number 1.

Also I`m going to be adding my flamenco page soon which is basically just following my progress on flamenco guitar.

Also the pre production demo for The Exiles is well under way drums, bass and most of the guitar and vocals are done for 3 tracks.  
 

Had a fairly eventful couple of weeks. I had minor surgery on my left hand at the Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby which has left me out of action for a while, in the mean time I`ve been trying some home recording I did a session with local singer songwriter Dan Kierton and the songs sound great! Hopefully post a couple with his permission. Start tracking drums for The Exiles pre production demo tonight, I know this is going to be a long process, it always is! We're doing it all DIY so there'll be plenty to learn a long the way.

Caught up with a few of my old music college mates the past week, saw Mark Crew and Woody at the Bastille show last Saturday and randomly bumped into Ollie and Toby Couling (drummer for Nina Nesbitt and Noisettes) while  watching Brother and Bones last night.

Also Booked a gig with DisFUNKtional for Good Friday at The Orchestra Pit in Buxton, so hopefully see some people there!
 

I've finally got round to building another website! Looking forward to a fun and music filled 2014, got some gigs lined up with my covers band DisFUNKtional as well as a new originals band The Exiles. I'm also in the process of writing a full guitar based production to be performed at this years Buxton Fringe Festival, more news on that once everything is confirmed :)
